The 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022

The Olympic Council of Asia has announced E-sports and breaking as event programs of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, regrettably billiard sports has not made it to this latest list.

Billiard sports has been dropped from the Asian Games after its last appearance in 2010.  Since then our Council has been appealing to various parties to lobby for the reinstatement of billiard sports to the Asian Games.

As it is only a little than one year before the 2022 Asian Games, we have again sought the support of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China and Asian Confederation of Billiards Sports, with a view to bringing billiard sports back as a medal event.
